Home loan advice ( interest and repayments etc) PLEASE HELP!!!? - interest only loan repayments

IN Australia .. $ 300,000 for loans with annual interest of 8.5% ....

There is a delay of interest payments in the year ... Does that mean u pay all the interest in the first year? and pay only the loan is on the left side in the contract .. absolutely no interest ADDITIONAL
